Cleaner – Domestic Assistant

ASA have a longstanding collaboration with the public sector and enjoying helping care homes and other healthcare establishments achieve high standards of cleanliness by providing reliable cleaners and domestic staff to join their hard-working teams.

We are currently recruiting for Cleaners to work within local authority care homes throughout Aberdeenshire. If you are trustworthy and reliable, we are looking for you.

The Job Role Involves

• The ability to clean designated areas and ensure they are kept in a hygienic condition
• The ability to use appropriate powered equipment and approved cleaning agents

Job Role Requirements – Essential

• Minimum of 6 months UK experience within a cleaning/domestic role
• Existing PVG member, update required at a cost to yourself (£18 for existing PVG scheme members)
• Be a good team player
• Ability to provide a regular and effective service
• Have the ability to travel to various locations

Desirable But Not Essential

• Good communication, organisational and customer care skills
• Manual Handling Awareness
• Knowledge of Health and Safety at work
