ASA Recruitment have lots of opportunities for temporary cleaners within Edinburgh to work in schools and care homes around the city. You will be expected to keep the buildings cleanliness to the highest standard.

Your responsibilities would include making sure that waste is managed correctly. You will also be required to use a multitude of different equipment and while doing so making sure you are using all equipment safely. If you are working within the care homes you would be expected to clean the residents’ rooms, the dining areas and the main hallways. If you were to work within the schools you would be cleaning the classrooms, halls and staff rooms.

The benefits of this job include a starting salary of £9.50/hour rising to £9.91/hour after 12 weeks worked, all pay will be paid weekly. You will also have the opportunity to work Monday to Friday on early shifts or late, whatever best suits you. You will accrue holiday pay depending on how often you work, so the more shifts you work the more holidays you will receive. An online diary manager will be available for you to use to mark what days you are and aren’t available. On top of this you will have a dedicated team of consultants working within the ASA office to help you with any queries you have.

A PVG for children and adults will be required for this role.
