Description

ASA Recruitment are now recruiting for a number of flexible Cleaners to join our Industrial team and undertake cleaning within several Primary Schools throughout the East Lothian area.

Working with ASA will grant you access to our online portal which allows you to update your availability and view your work schedules at your own leisure. Furthermore, an induction will be given to you by the handover staff or site manager at every new site you attend.

Key responsibilities:

· Clean all public areas within the premises (classrooms, canteens, staff rooms, toilets, locker rooms, corridors)
· Ensure all bins are regularly emptied and the waste is disposed of accordingly
· Report any maintenance issues discovered to facilities staff
· Operate heavy cleaning equipment and machinery when required
· Comply with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations and work within the relevant legislation policies and procedures

Skills and Experience:

· Ability to multi-task and prioritise work load
· Flexible and reliable
· Excellent attention to detail
· Have good communication skills
· A hands-on approach to a busy cleaning schedule
· Experience in a similar position
