Cisco Network Specialist

Description

ASA are working with a large business within the public sector and are currently looking for a Cisco Network Specialist with extensive Cisco networking and Unified Comms experience in a multi-site environment.

In this role you will be responsible for:
· Providing 3rd level support of the companies Cisco network hardware and Unified Communications systems
· Management of the companies Network including LAN, WAN, Security, VOIP and UC Platforms
· Supporting/ resolving incident tickets
· Contributing to Network team projects as required
· General networking activities including: engineering, installation, troubleshooting, repairing, testing, monitoring, facilitating, reporting, documenting, training and undertaking preventative maintenance

To be successful in this role you will need:
· A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technology training with 5 years experience in Network Support
· Extensive Cisco networking experience in a multi-site environment
· Advanced working knowledge of Cisco and other vendors network appliances
· To be able to effectively diagnose and troubleshoot Network specific issues
· To be able to continuously prioritize activities to ensure that network operations are never compromised
· Experience with Firewall maintenance

This role offers a secure 6 month contract working 37 hours a week Monday to Friday for a major public sector client in the Central Belt
