Due to ASA Recruitment’s continuous collaboration with the public sector we are looking for Catering Assistants to join our successful team in Edinburgh.

With a pay rate starting from £7.83 per hour, flexible shifts as a Catering Assistant from 9:30am to 4:30pm or 10am to 2pm to suit your lifestyle.

The requirements for the Catering Assistant position would be:

– Show interest in catering and your passion for food
– Be comfortable working in a team
– Have the capacity to be responsive in an stressful environment
– Be able to present correct standards of personal hygiene at all times
– Show eagerness to learn on a daily bases

As a responsible Catering Assistant your main duties will be:

– Maintaining a good knowledge of food and hygiene practices
– Basic meal preparation, such as preparing sandwiches
– Ensuring all areas, surfaces, floors and walls are clean
– Able to use the coffee machine and prepare different beverages
– Helping to serve meals to customers and take payments

All these facilities will require for you to have your own safety shoes and having these will boost your opportunity of work all around the Edinburgh Area.
