Catering Assistant

We are currently recruiting for Catering Assistants to work within Local Authority & Private Care establishments throughout Inverness, Nairn and Forres. Full and Part time hours are available.

Catering Assistant Requirements – Essential:
· Have good literacy and numeracy skills
· Be a good team player
· Ability to provide a regular and effective service
· Understanding of working in a catering environment
· Have good customer care, communication and organisational skills
· Ensure that COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to

Catering Assistant Requirements – Desirable:
· You must have a minimum of six months previous experience working within the catering industry in the UK
· Understanding of working in a catering environment
· Understanding dietary and nutritional needs
· Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate
· Manual Handling Awareness
· PVG membership required
· Ad-hoc duties to support the catering team and services
