Catering Assistant

ASA Recruitment are now seeking Catering Assistants to assist our clients based throughout the West Lothian Area. You would be able to pick up shifts in different facilities in Livingston, Bathgate, Broxburn or Whitburn.

As part of the ASA Catering team you would be responsible for:

– Demonstrating a good knowledge of food hygiene practices at all times.
– Supporting the chef with meal preparation tasks and the kitchen team loading and unloading the dishwasher.
– Making sure appliances, surfaces, floors and walls are clean. And help serving meals when needed.

To be eligible for this Catering Assistant position you will need to:

– Prove a minimum of 6 months experience on a similar role.
– Provide two business references relevant to the role.
– Certificates for qualifications or relevant training you have completed i.e. Food Hygiene Certificate, Allergen Certificate.
Being part of the PVG Scheme, be willing to undertake an update or apply for one would be also beneficial.
