Catering Assistant

We are currently recruiting for Catering Assistants to work within Primary and Secondary Schools within Aberdeen City. Hours Vary between 10am & 2pm week days.

Catering Assistant Requirements – Essential

• Have good literacy and numeracy skills
• Be a good team player
• Ability to provide a regular and effective service
• Understanding of working in a catering environment
• Have good customer care, communication and organisational skills
• Ensure that COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to

Catering Assistant Requirements – Desirable

• You must have a minimum of six months previous experience working within the catering industry in the UK
• Understanding of working in a catering environment
• Understanding dietary and nutritional needs
• Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate
• Manual Handling Awareness
• Children’s PVG membership required – Cost to join the PVG scheme (£59) or update existing records (£18)
• Adhoc duties to support the catering team and services

In Return We Are Offering:

• Support from an ASA Consultant from 7am until 10pm, 7 days a week
• Excellent rates of pay

• Paid annual leave based on hours you work
• Working Monday-Friday with no weekends
• You get paid on a weekly basis (every Friday)
