Care Assistant

Description

At ASA we are currently looking for Care Assistants available to work in Aboyne to join our team and support our well known client in the area. This position is based in a residential care home in a quiet part of Aboyne, where they can accommodate 30 residents.

Responsibilities;
· Providing personal care and assisting with daily tasks
· Supporting at meal times
· Encouraging as much independence as possible in all aspects of life
· Following individual care plans and communicating any notes or hand overs to wider care team
· Safe use of manual handling equipment

Our ideal applicants have a minimum of 6 months experience working in Healthcare in the UK and MUST be able to work in the Aboyne area of Aberdeenshire. You should be of a calm and friendly nature, ready to face the challenges of the day. A PVG for adults is essential for this role – if you already have a PVG an update is required prior to working with ASA.
