ASA Recruitment urgently requires support & care staff in Kilmarnock, Ayr, Troon, Irvine & surrounding areas. We are a leading care agency in Scotland and have clients across the public and private sector and require experienced carers to work within Nursing and Residential Homes as well within support organisations.

The role can vary from client to client however you will be required to undertake all duties normally associated with elderly care. This would include personal care, assisting with mobility and importantly getting to know them personally and giving them the support they need to enhance their wellbeing.

Requirements:

• Six months of experience in care within the last 12 months
• Experience of moving & handling
• Available to pick up at least four shifts per month
• Effectively communicate with co-workers, the residents and their families
• Be passionate about providing a high level of care

Benefits:

ASA’s staff can expect to receive a minimum of £9.25 per hour with enhancements for evening work and weekends. On top of your hourly rate, you will also receive 12.07% holiday pay for each hour you work.

We provide all our care staff with moving & handling training at our Glasgow office, provided by our fantastic trainers who each have over 20 years experience within health care. We provide further training such as epilepsy and administration of medication if this is required within your role.

Shift work is based around your availability and we have hours to accommodate your schedule with various locations to suit, however, we ask that you have a flexible approach to our clients’ needs.
