ASA are currently looking for enthusiastic Care Assistants to work in care homes in West Dunbartonshire and the surround areas including Clydebank, Dumbarton and Old Kilpatrick.

Flexible working hours are available and we can offer a range of shift patterns including early, late and nightshift.

As a Care Assistant you would be required to:

• Assist service users in all aspects of their care needs and helping them remain as independent as possible throughout all tasks
• Take responsibility for ensuring that the care provided meets the best practice standards and that you lead by example
• Liaise and communicate effectively with residents and family members
• Engaging in day to day activities and providing companionship to residents

To be considered for the Care Assistant position you will need to:

• Problem solve and think creatively
• Build rapport with service users and families
• Work well in a fast paced environment and use your own initiative
• Provide a high standard of personal care and attention to each service user
