ASA are looking for a Business Architect to join the public sector in Glasgow. This contract opportunity would be perfect for an individual looking to take the lead on a new directorate programme from inception through to implementation.

The Role:

• Provide overall direction, guidance and definition of business architecture to effectively support business strategy.
• Work with business leaders to identify business capability needs and prioritisation.
• Ensure solutions and ideas developed for the client are aligned to high expected standards and principles and meet financial targets.
• Create business architecture models demonstrating how products, operations and systems inter-operate within the client’s organisation.
• Provide overall direction, guidance and definition of business architecture to effectively support business strategy.
• Conduct reviews and analysis of organisational needs and goals for the development and implementation of a new business platform.

Successful candidates for the Business Architect role will require:

• Extensive business design and analysis experience (within the public sector would be a big advantage)
• Well versed in the full development life cycle in waterfall and agile approaches.
• An ability and willingness to strategize and question organisational boundaries.
• A strong communicator that can partner with other architecture teams to develop a strong framework of connections and stakeholders.
• The ability to take ownership with a hands on approach that delivers the core business needs of the client.
