Automatic Dopeless Painting Operator

ASA Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Automatic Dopeless Painting Operator for their Aberdeen based client.

Purpose :

To perform the operation of robot dopeless painting of pipes and couples in a safe an efficient manner according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards.

Responsibilities :

* Ensure product quality complying with defined standards and reporting deviations
* Carry out duties in an effective manner meeting productivity and efficiency standards in accordance with minimum costs
* Perform activities according to applicable procedures
* Complete and update all applicable records ensuring information accuracy
* Ensure proper use of the company assets, detecting and reporting any malfunctions
* Maintain a clean and tidy workplace

Activities :

* Executes change over and set up of the painting robots
* Performs coupling washing and oil removal
* Carry out pipe end drying and preheating
* Perform painting robots operation
* Carry out automatic dopeless pipe or coupling painting
* Perform gravimetric and thickness tests to pipes
* Change and control machine tools
* Assist with machine lock outs and tag outs for operative maintenance
* Update information on the tracking systems
