Newly available opportunity for an Audit Senior in an exciting Scottish accountancy firm based in the centre of Glasgow. Our client is seeking either an Audit Senior or a newly qualified accountant who has qualified in an audit environment. The role offers a competitive salary based on experience and an exciting client list.

The responsibilities of the Audit Senior are:

§ Planning engagement plans, time budgets and work programmes
§ Supervising staff and controlling the fieldwork based on pre-approved plans
§ Review the work of part qualified and trainee staff and take responsibility of the quality assurance of work carried out
§ Providing on the job training to junior members of the team
§ Building and maintaining relationships with clients ensuring that each engagement is completed in accordance to time budgets

To be considered for the role you will:

§ Be a qualified accountant working in an audit environment
§ Have experience supervising junior members of staff on assignments
§ Have experience planning time allocations for staff on assignments
