Are you experienced in excel and looking for your next contract role? We have an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Finance Manager to join our public sector client for an initial 6 month contract in Edinburgh and play a critical part in embedding a new debt management system.

Your key responsibilities will include:

· Process new customer accounts
· Raise invoices and credit notes
· Process offsets and amounts recovered against invoices
· Reconcile accounts receivable
· Liaise with internal and external audit teams
· Assist in preparation of annual accounts

Requirements:

· Competent in analysing and problem solving
· Formal Accountancy qualification
· Proven experience of working with complex excel spreadsheets and ability to provide proof of this
· A current Basic Disclosure certificate
