Accounts Payable

Description

ASA are delighted to be working with a well-recognised, multinational organisation who are currently on the lookout to bring an immediately available Accounts Payable Specialist into their North Lanarkshire based team. This short term role has a high chance of growing into a permanent position for the right candidate who has a solid background in an accounts payable focused role.

Responsibilities
– Invoice processing both PO & Non-PO
– Ensure relevant approvals are in place for NON-PO
– 3 way matching
– Key controls on vendor name & bank details
– Invoice error resolution
– Monitor and maintain invoice resolution queries
– Liaise with the procurement team in regards to aged items
– Assist the procurement team as and when required
– Internal Key Stakeholder Support both local and throughout EMEA
– Dealing with supplier statements
– Reconcile, investigate, request missing invoices as necessary and prepare reconciliation
– Deal with any supplier queries as and when required
– Assist with any ad hoc duties as and when required

Requirements:
– Experience in a similar AP focused role
– Strong Excel skills
– The ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
– Ability to adapt quickly based on organisational changes
– Ability to distinguish priorities and to complete things within SLA
– Able to work effectively as part of a team
– Strong communication skills

This role would be ideal for someone who has dealt with accounts payable duties in the past and is looking to progress further, taking on more of an advanced position in this area. In return you will be working for an attractive organisation, offering a strong salary between £20,000 and £23,000 and a number of additional benefits.
