Accounts Payable Team Leader

ASA are currently working alongside an industry leading global organisation based on the outskirts of Glasgow, in the Dunbartonshire area who are looking to add to their already established finance team. Our client are currently seeking to add an experienced Accounts Payable Team Leader on a permanent basis.

The main duties of the Accounts Payable Team Leader will involve:

– Processing a high volume of purchase invoices
– Coordinating and planning accounts payable duties
– Ensuring strong working relationships are maintained with other departments throughout the organisation
– Managing a team of up to five and ensuring all time sensitive deadlines are met
– Monitoring the performance of team members on a monthly basis

The successful candidate for the Accounts Payable Team Leader role will possess:

– The ability to effectively supervise and manage a team
– A strong background in purchase to pay processes and controls
– A minimum of three years’ experience in an Accounts Payable position, preferably in a similar multinational environment
– The ability to mentor and supervise those within the team
– Experience of manage and prioritise workloads on both a team and individual level
– A high level of organisation in order to successfully meet deadlines
– A background in liaising with colleagues across departments and working in a cooperative manner

Our client are offering a competitive salary and benefit package involving life insurance, a strong bonus scheme, great holiday entitlement and an attractive pension scheme. The standard working hours for the Accounts Payable Team Leader position will be 8-5.
