Accounts Payable

ASA are delighted to be working alongside an ambitious city centre organisation looking to add to their growing team due to recent expansion. This market leader are keen to bring a Purchase Ledger Clerk into their established team. The successful candidate will have experience in either a purchase ledger or a broader accounts focused position.
The role:
– Processing high volume invoices
– Generating a high volume of invoices
– Entering data onto the system
– Preparing and overseeing payment runs
– Dealing with ban transfers
– Conducting reporting on a monthly basis
– Dealing with a high volume of queries
– Providing assistance for other members of the finance team
– Assisting management with a number of enquiries
– Assisting with any other relevant projects
– Ad hoc duties as required
The candidate:
– Previous purchase ledger experience
– A strong detail orientated outlook
– Some aptitude for accounting systems
– Able to understand, organise and prioritise workloads in order to meet deadlines
– The ability to work with colleagues across various levels and departments
– A proactive and cooperative attitude
This role offers a real opportunity for someone with accounts payable experience to enter into a fast paced and challenging role. In return a salary between £18,000 and £22,000 is on offer dependent on experience as well as a number of other benefits including excellent holiday days and private healthcare.
