Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join a Scottish business with its head office based in Glasgow city centre. Our client is a successful and innovative Scottish business who have been providing an exceptional service for over 40 years. Due to a period of growth and expansion, they are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join on a permanent basis.

As Accounts Assistant your duties will include:

· Processing a high volume of purchase invoices
· Preparing weekly payment runs
· Maintaining the sales ledger
· Chasing any overdue debt
· Carrying out bank reconciliations
· Managing the petty cash
· Assisting the Management Accountant with accruals and prepayments

To be considered for the Accounts Assistant opportunity, you must:

· Be educated to HND level or possess practical experience equivalent
· Have experience working with Sage, this is a necessity
· Be a pro-active and motivated individual
