2nd Line Support Engineer

Are you a driven 2nd line Support Engineer looking for a new role in South Lanarkshire? Are you well versed in IT Infrastructure and Network support, and keen to join a growing team? We are looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join our client on a permanent basis.

What will you be doing?

* Providing and maintaining a high degree of customer service for all support queries
* Updating and maintaining the CRM system and adhering to SLAs
* Providing Maintaining a high degree of customer service for all support queries
* Accurate update/maintenance of the CRM system and SLAs
* Responding to enquiries from clients and help them resolve any hardware or software problems
* Liaising with third party software/hardware providers to expedite prompt resolutions for clients
* Providing guidance and support to 1st line technical staff

What are we looking for?

* Experience supporting a range of Windows desktop operating systems – Windows 8.1, 10
* Windows Server 2012 /16 administration experience essential
* Email support – Exchange 2012, Office 365 installation, operation and troubleshooting
* Active Directory and Group Policy Administration essential
* Office 2010, 2013, 2016 all general aspects
* Networking – configuring Routers, Switches and Firewalls experience essential
* Network troubleshooting TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
* Backup solutions installation, maintenance and troubleshooting experience essential
* Proven Technical environment in a Managed IT service environment over three years
* Experience of remote monitoring and management software for IT services is an advantage.
