Description

ASA Recruitment are looking for a Health and Safety Trainer for our Public Sector client. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety trainer looking for an extended temporary assignment, to be based in Inverness and with the opportunity for Hybrid working.

Your new role will be to deliver health and safety training which will include manual handling, moving and handling, risk assessment, mental health first aid, risk assessment and working at height, training will be delivered face to face and via MS Teams. You will also contribute to the development of eLearning courses.

Responsibilities include:

  • The development and delivery of all in house Health and Safety Training.
  • Liaising with Service Managers to identify Health and Safety training requirements.
  • Organising and preparing Health and Safety programmes.
  • Ensuring all training records are updated as required.
  • Improving and adapting existing training programs.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH Health and Safety Certificate.
  • Basic Disclosure.
  • Be able to travel across the Highland Region to provide training.
  • Ability to work independently and with other teams.
  • Be able to work in partnership with recognised Trade Unions.
