About the Client:
ASA have the exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team to work in a care home for the elderly. This newly refurbished site, set within its own grounds in the Banchory area of Aberdeenshire is host to accommodation for 34 older people in single rooms, all with en-suite facilities. There are ample facilities for socialising including multiple lounges, gardens and even a summer house.

Your Opportunity:
As a Senior Care Assistant working with ASA in this position you would be covering mostly weekend days with shift times of 0730-1500, 1500-2200 or 2145-0745. The role involves managing of day to day tasks within the home and providing high quality care to residents by leading and supporting other members of staff.

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant with similar responsibilities. They would be reliable and committed to their job and not afraid of some hard work.

Responsibilities Include:
· Effective and efficient management of other staff members on shift.
· Covering management duties in absence of the service manager/deputy manager.
· Keeping families and relatives up to date on residents.
· Contributing to the write up and management of care plans.
· Administering of medication.

Requirements:
You must have an SVQ3 to be considered for this position as well as a PVG certificate and SSSC membership. You must demonstrate core values of trust and empathy and be able to demonstrate high levels of expertise as a Senior Care Assistant.
