Description

ASA Recruitment are looking for a full time, Service Delivery Area (SDA) Admin Support Assistant to join an exciting public sector team in Dundee.

The successful candidate can be from a private or public sector background and will be responsible for providing full business support for SDA meetings, acting as minute taker on a regular basis, producing agendas, collating papers and reports and taking appropriate follow up action as required. Ensuring comprehensive knowledge of Sharepoint and Teams to support remote meeting arrangements.

This Monday to Friday role is Hybrid with any office work based in Dundee and initially for a period of 6 months.

The SDA Admin Support role comprises of:

  • Working with all Service Delivery Area Business Support Teams and the Corporate Business Support Team to provide a flexible, comprehensive and confidential business support service to suit the changing needs of SFRS.
  • Providing reception/first point of contact for local Service Delivery Area Management Teams and Head of Service Delivery and SDA locations. Receiving and filtering messages, handling telephone calls and meeting and greeting internal and external stakeholders, business partners and visitors as appropriate.
  • Providing full business support with regards room bookings, dealing with requests across the Service area and to maintain booking systems for rooms, video conference and ICT meeting facilities.
  • Supporting local SDA officers and managers within the SDA including co-ordinating diaries, making appointments, arranging meetings, catering, room and pool car bookings.
  • Dealing with SDA related enquiries and process related correspondence.
  • Handling confidential and sensitive information appropriately in line with organisational requirements, data protection legislation and GDPR.

Successful candidates for the role will require:

  • HNC Admin or relevant office experience
  • Experience of working with multiple system interfaces
  • Experience of Minute Taking
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment and be able to generate positive working relationships to achieve an end result
  • Knowledge and experience of IT packages, e.g. Microsoft Office, Sharesite, Outlook
