An HR Administrator is required to support an HR function for an institute of Higher Learning.
The Job Role
The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive range of HR support services to colleagues, by taking responsibility for a wide range of specialised administrative tasks, and contributing to the continuous improvement and implementation of HR processes, practices and procedures. You will proactively organise and coordinate all the processes associated with recruitment of staff, liaising with and advising recruiting managers. The HR Administrator coordinate and administer a wide range of HR tasks such as the completion of paperwork to obtain certificates of sponsorship and visa extensions, absence recording (sickness and other absences), end of employment processes and maintenance of various other information sources .
What you’ll need to succeed
· Vocational qualification (N/SVQ 3, ONC or equivalent) plus typically at least 2 years’ work experience in a relevant role or school education to standard grade or equivalent plus typically 3 years’ relevant work experience
· Knowledge of HR and recruitment procedures, equality and diversity legislation and other relevant legislation
· Advanced Excel knowledge, with a proven ability to manipulate data.
· A high level of IT literacy
· Ability to plan, prioritise, take initiative and find proactive solutions, contribute new ideas to projects, work unsupervised, under pressure and multitask effectively
