They now seek to recruit a qualified CA/CIMA./ACCA to manage a team of 3 reporting directly to the Financial Director.

The role will cover direct responsibility for the day to day management and reporting of cash flows, credit control management and management accounting.

The successful candidate will have strong technical accounting ability, experience of budgetary and management information, knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.

The Group Financial Risk Controls area in Group Financial Risk Management is responsible for delivering key aspects of the ERM Framework in respect of the Group's liquidity risk, market risk, credit risk, and demographic and expense risk. • Developing and delivering financial risk reporting for key risk committees across the Group that supports informed decision making
• Actively engaging with Business Units to ensure the ongoing operation and development of effective financial risk policies and to promote compliance with those policies
• Providing effective oversight and challenge to the monthly management information reported by Group Companies/Business Unit Risk functions as part of the financial risk management elements of the Enterprise Risk Management framework.
• Developing and delivers the month end financial risk reporting including the preparation of reporting for the Group Credit Risk Committee, the Enterprise Risk Management Committee and the Risk & Capital Committee of the Board, analysing Group Company/Business unit risk reports to enable informed decisions.

Must have’s:
• Educated to degree level.
• Previous financial risk experience most of which has been gained in a financial services group or a consultancy environment.
• Track record of experience and delivery in a management, project management, consultancy or analytical roles with exposure to a number of business areas.
