Support Workers required for temporary placements in supported living and day centre projects across Edinburgh

It is essential that you have a minimum of 6 months of previous experience in a support environment, working with adults who have learning and physical difficulties. You will be involved in the daily activities of the service, supporting clients to achieve personal goals, attending day centres, excursions and local community-based projects. You will be involved in meetings and consultations with senior workers and management to ensure high standards and continuity of support. You may also be required to provide personal care or assistance with some clients' mobility.

All applications are subject to a Disclosure check, where all candidates will be asked to access the PVG scheme or to update records (if already PVG members). Candidates will also be required to provide at least 2 relevant reference contacts.

In return, we offer competitive rates of pay, starting at £7.50 per hour and you will be invited to attend our mandatory Healthcare training courses which are offered free of charge.
